Privacy Policy
Last updated :
This Privacy Policy explains how Azzabene School ([registered legal name], “the School”, “we”) collects and processes personal data through the website azzabeneschools.com, in accordance with Algerian Law No. 18-07 of 10 June 2018 on the protection of personal data, as amended.
1. Data controller
The data controller is [registered legal name], with its registered office at [registered seat address], Ouled Fayet, Algiers.
For any question about your data or to exercise your rights, contact us at [privacy contact email] or on +213 551 080 648.
2. Data we collect
Contact form: the name, email address, telephone number and message you choose to send us.
WhatsApp: if you use the WhatsApp button, your message and phone number are handled by Meta under WhatsApp’s own terms.
Analytics (only with your consent): technical and usage data such as your IP address, online and cookie identifiers, device and browser information, and pages viewed — and, where Google Signals is active, aggregated demographic and cross-device data.
3. Purposes
We use this data to answer enrolment and information requests, to communicate with parents, and — with your consent — to measure audience and improve the website. We do not sell your data.
4. Legal basis — consent
Processing is based on your prior, free, specific, informed and explicit consent (art. 7). Analytics cookies load only after you accept them on the banner, and you may withdraw consent at any time.
5. Cookies & analytics
The site needs no cookies to function. Google Analytics 4 (including Google Signals) is a non-essential analytics tool that loads only if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner.
To refuse or withdraw, choose “Refuse” on the banner or clear this site’s data in your browser.
6. Recipients
Your data may be handled by our authorised staff and by our technical providers: Google LLC (analytics), Meta Platforms (WhatsApp) and our host Hostinger. Each acts under its own privacy terms.
7. Transfer outside Algeria
Because Google and Meta operate servers abroad, using analytics or WhatsApp involves a transfer of your data outside Algeria (arts. 44–45). Such transfers are subject to your consent and to the applicable authorisation of the ANPDP.
8. Retention
Contact-form data is kept only as long as needed to handle your request, and for [retention period] afterwards. Analytics data is retained for at most 14 months.
9. Your rights
You may access, rectify, erase and block your data, and object to its processing (arts. 34–36). To exercise these rights, contact [privacy contact email].
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the national data-protection authority (ANPDP) at plaintes.anpdp.dz.
10. Children’s data
For pupils who are minors, personal data is collected and processed with parental consent and limited to what is strictly necessary.
11. Security & updates
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. This policy may change; the version shown here applies from the date above.
This document is provided for information and must be reviewed by a qualified Algerian lawyer, and the ANPDP formalities completed, before it is relied upon.
